Credit Watch

If you don’t, someone else will.

Credit Watch – The Best

We can talk about credit all day long, but if you don’t know what is on your credit report, you may not even know where to begin.  There are several things pulling your own credit through a monthly credit watch service, will do for you:

  1. Show you where your credit scores are.
  2. Reveal if there is any incorrect information being reported about you.
  3. Notify you of any changes on your credit (i.e. new credit pulls, new accounts opened, new collections reporting, etc.)

Being in the financing and credit business myself has forced me to research dozens of credit watch services on the web.  Most of you have heard of freecreditreport.com and seen their commercials.  While their advertising is humerous, their “free” credit report is not free and is rather pricy if you want to obtain all three credit bureaus and scores (bureaus being Trans Union, Experian and Equifax – the Big Three).

After a lot of research we have found truecredit.com (a company owned by Trans Union) to be the most cheaply priced and the greatest price value.  At this time they are $14.95 per month, which not only gives you all 3 bureaus but also $25,000 in identity theft protection.  Not bad.  So pull your credit now (you can click on the link above and fill out the green boxed section – this company has many products, but many of their “free trials” end up being much more expensive and not worth the money) and then move on to the posts to find out where to direct your attentions.  If you have specific questions or comments, please let us know!
